Kotensu posted Agreed, While I enjoy that rush maps are more open in Armored Kill it seems Rush favors the attackers. Rush on Armored Kill needs better vehicle balance. User Info: ProfanaT. I've been doing AK Conquest, not Rush yet.
The AC in Conquest is pretty much a sitting duck, unless the air support for the controlling team can take out the enemy jets and heli. I've taken out enemy air whilst in it, but as for ground control, still a learning curve to get the aim just right, but I have been on the receiving end of a well coordinated AC attack. User Info: ecureuil. It's a flying coffin and a total waste of time. It's FAR easier to bring it down than it is to kill anything with it, in fact in just a few games I've taken down the gunship 5 or 6 times already, three times in jets, and I'm still yet to get a kill when I'm in it.
User Info: Arkma3. I was on the fence, but after several hours of gaming, I've come to what I think is a fairly solid conclusion, though of course I may still change my mind as time goes on and I learn the maps or more specifically, where the best overhead cover is! Keep in mind, I've only been playing Rush, and as such, my argument only concerns rush. I kept switching teams and servers to get a more balanced opinion limiting the possibility I was just on a rubbish defending team , and still I came to the same conclusion.
The main problem, is the AC is so powerful as it should be , that you HAVE to take it out immediately, otherwise either the guns will ruin your team, or the parachuting soldiers that drop in behind you will. This, coupled with the fact that, as mentioned by a couple of the users above, the defenders are seriously outmatched when it comes to armour I think Rush need's major balancing. We won every attacking game.
We lost every defending game bar one which came down to the last base of M-COM's. But on consoles? I don't know what to suggest, but something isn't working as it is.
